In early 2026, Clay Jenkins & Associates is set to present its yearly "Texting and Driving: Raising Awareness" scholarship. The firm will award $1,000 to a student who can craft a persuasive, 1000-word essay highlighting the perils of texting while driving.
Students wishing to participate must ensure that their application materials are submitted by November 15, 2025, for their essays to be reviewed by the scholarship selection committee of the firm.

These questions are not mandatory to answer but can serve as a guide to better address the main prompt of the scholarship essay.
Deadline for Application
Students have until November 15, 2025, to submit their scholarship essay and relevant application materials to Clay Jenkins & Associates. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
Once the scholarship application period ends, a selection committee will be formed to review the received applications. Applicants can expect to receive feedback on their applications within one to three months after the scholarship's closing date.

Eligibility Criteria

Selection and Notification of Award
Applications submitted after the November deadline or without the necessary materials will not be considered by Clay Jenkins & Associates. After the scholarship application period ends, the scholarship committee will review the applications.
The committee's decision will not be influenced by age, race, religion, gender, national origin, family status, or any other protected classes.

The successful applicant will be notified via email by Clay Jenkins & Associates. The firm will announce the scholarship winner through a blog post and a press release. Clay Jenkins & Associates will then coordinate with the academic institution listed on the student's application to facilitate the transfer of the scholarship funds.
