Georgia Society of CPA's Scholarship

Scholarship Sponsored by Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants

Value: $5,000.00
Awards Available: 13

Introduction The Educational Foundation of The Georgia Society of CPAs, Inc. funds scholarships intended to assist students majoring in accounting or those concentrating in accounting. Students who satisfy the eligibility criteria below are invited to apply. Awards are to be applied to the following academic year. Award timing and use of funds Scholarship recipients will be announced in March/April 2025. After the Foundation verifies enrollment for the upcoming semester, payment will be issued by check made payable to the recipient’s college or university. Checks are typically mailed in May. Award funds must be used during fall 2025, spring 2026, and/or summer 2026 semesters only. Funds cannot be used as reimbursement. A recipient may use the entire award in one semester or divide it across the eligible semesters. This is a one-time payment. Both recipients and their institutions will be informed of awards in March so students can be recognized at honors or awards events.
