Jewish Heritage Scholarship

We are delighted to announce the Diamant Gerstein Jewish Heritage Scholarship, a $1,000 award, through our law firm. This scholarship is designed to acknowledge and assist Jewish students who have shown remarkable leadership abilities and have a track record of exceptional leadership.
Applicants must be able to prove to our scholarship panel their dedication to enhancing their community and upholding the principles cherished by the Jewish community. These principles include respect for others and the practice of "tzedakah," or charity, as it is referred to in Hebrew.
Eligibility Criteria for the Jewish Heritage Scholarship
Students who wish to apply for our Jewish Heritage Scholarship must fulfill the following requirements:
- Applicants must be of Jewish faith.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or university, either as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
Submission Guidelines for the Jewish Heritage Scholarship
- For consideration, eligible candidates must provide the following: proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university; evidence of the required GPA; and the necessary contact information.
- Applicants are also required to submit either a three-minute video or a 750-word essay responding to the following prompt:
- Discuss a lesson you have learned from Judaism that has contributed to your development as a leader.
Our Evaluation Process
After the scholarship deadline, our scholarship committee aims to choose a recipient within four weeks. The following factors will be considered during the evaluation of applications:
- The applicant's dedication to active community leadership is evident in their application.
- The applicant has provided all the necessary information for our application.
- The applicant's video or essay is well-structured and contains high-quality content.
