Legal Legacy Scholarship

Roberts PC is proud to introduce the Legal Legacy Scholarship, a program designed to honor the commitment and hard work of first-generation law and pre-law students. We understand that the journey towards a law degree can be both financially and emotionally challenging, and we want to reward the courage it takes to embark on this path. The legal profession thrives on fresh ideas and innovative perspectives, and we are eager to support a first-generation student in their pursuit of a legal career.
The recipient of the Legal Legacy Scholarship will receive a $1000 grant to help cover their educational costs. The deadline for submitting applications for this scholarship is September 22, 2025.
Qualification Criteria
Before you apply, please ensure you meet the following mandatory eligibility criteria:
- You are a first-generation student enrolled in a law or pre-law program at an accredited institution.
- You are enrolled or intend to enroll in a pre-law undergraduate program or an accredited law school within the United States for the Fall 2025 semester.
- You are at least 17 years of age.
- You are a U.S. citizen.
Submission Guidelines
Applicants must respond to the following essay question in a response not exceeding 500 words.
- Your essay should be submitted in .docx or PDF format.
- We also require proof of your enrollment at your university or law school, such as a class schedule, unofficial transcript, or acceptance letter.

- As a law or pre-law student, what are your career goals? How do you plan to use your degree to improve our society?
Assessment Criteria
Our scholarship committee will assess your essay based on the following factors:
- The clarity of your career objectives after obtaining your degree.
- The sincerity of your proposed societal contributions with your degree.
- The logical structure and organization of your essay.
The scholarship recipient will be selected and notified approximately one month after the application deadline.
