Introduction
The Maine DeMolay and Pine Tree Youth Foundation funds scholarships each year to assist Maine high school graduates who plan to continue their formal education. The total number and value of awards vary annually. While certain scholarships are restricted by the original donor or reserved for graduates of particular schools, the majority are open to all eligible applicants. Awards are granted without consideration of race, religion, age, gender, national origin, or “Masonic Family” ties.

About DeMolay
The Order of DeMolay is an international fraternal organization for young men ages 12–21, active since 1919 and dedicated to personal development. Notable alumni include President Gerald Ford, actor John Wayne, and cartoonist Walt Disney. DeMolay emphasizes friendship and family values. It is not a religious organization and does not promote any particular faith. Although it has strong connections to and support from Freemasonry, DeMolay is not a junior Masonic body. Any young man who values high moral standards is encouraged to consider membership. DeMolay’s motto: Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Today!
