Navy Supply Corps Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Navy Supply Corps Foundation
The Navy Supply Corps Foundation will open its Scholarship application period for the 2026–2027 academic year from December 1, 2025 through March 13, 2026.
Overview
- The Foundation’s Scholarship Program—originally the reason the Foundation was formed about thirty years ago—offers financial support for college to qualifying members of the Supply Corps community. Awards are available to high school seniors, undergraduate students at two- or four-year institutions, students enrolled at accredited community colleges or technical schools, and to spouses.
Who may apply
- Eligible applicants include children, grandchildren, or spouses of qualifying Supply Corps officers (living or deceased), and children or spouses of supply-rated enlisted personnel (active duty, reservists, or retired).
- Spouse applicants must be undergraduates and enroll at least half time (minimum 6 credit hours per semester).
- Applicants must be seeking an undergraduate degree (full-time enrollment required for two- or four-year colleges; community college or technical school applicants must attend an accredited school and be full-time students).
- Minimum academic requirement: 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicants who have received an official appointment to, or accepted an appointment at, a U.S. service academy are ineligible.
Memorial scholarships
- In response to the Global War on Terror after September 11, 2001, the NSCF created memorial scholarships originally valued at $10,000 for each minor child of a Supply Corps officer who is killed while on active duty. In 2022 the Foundation raised the memorial scholarship amount to $20,000.
- This memorial program covers Active Duty Supply Corps officers and Reserve Supply Corps officers serving under the following statuses: Mobilization, Active Duty for Special Work (ADSW), Active Duty for Training (ADT), Annual Training (AT), and Inactive Duty for Training (IDT).
Application and award timeline
- Applications are accepted and checked for completeness between December and March each year.
- The Foundation awards a limited number of multi-year (four-year) scholarships in addition to one-year awards.
- Successful applicants will be notified by the end of May.
- Scholarship payments are sent directly to the recipient’s institution to be applied toward the upcoming academic year.
Permissible enlisted ratings
- Eligible enlisted sponsors include active or retired personnel in supply-related ratings such as AK, SK, MS/CS, SH, DK, LI, PC, and LS.
