To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a young woman who has shown an interest in or has an association with the game of golf.
- Demonstrate financial need by providing copies of the FAFSA, the SAR (Student Aid Report), the applicant’s and parent/guardian’s most recent federal income tax returns (2023 or 2024), and documentation of any financial aid decisions.

- Show academic ability by submitting SAT and/or ACT scores and high school and/or college transcripts.
- Possess outstanding character, integrity, and leadership.

General Information and Award Conditions
- Late applications will not be considered for the current year but may be submitted the following year.
- Applications are reviewed in late May. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 15, 2026.
- Scholarships apply to qualified educational costs such as tuition, room and board, incidental fees, and books. The selection committee determines the number of semesters covered by an award.
- Continued receipt of funds is contingent upon the student remaining enrolled and maintaining demonstrated financial need. If a recipient does not matriculate within one year of the award, or withdraws from school thereafter, the scholarship may be revoked and the student would need to reapply for future assistance.
- Scholarship checks are payable to the student. Recipients must submit academic verification and an official school transcript each semester in a timely fashion; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of funds.
- Any scholarship funds not used in accordance with the award terms must be returned to the WMGA Foundation.
- All application materials and financial information submitted to the Foundation will be kept confidential.
