INKAS Rising Star Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing
INTRODUCTION
The INKAS “Rising Star” Scholarship recognizes exceptional post-secondary students pursuing studies in engineering or business who demonstrate potential to influence the future of security, manufacturing, and related industries. Applicants must submit a topical essay; submissions will be reviewed by the INKAS Scholarship Committee for structure, clarity, creativity, relevance to INKAS’s sector, and forward-looking vision.
AWARDS
- Two scholarships will be granted — one for the Engineering & Technology stream and one for the Business, Finance & Law stream.
- Each winner will receive CAD $2,500.00. Awards will be presented by INKAS CEO David Khazanski and Chairwoman Margarita Simkin.
ELIGIBILITY
To be considered, applicants must:
1. Have at least a 75% average (or equivalent GPA) from the most recent term/semester.
2. Be currently enrolled in, or planning to enroll full-time for the 2026 academic year in, an accredited Canadian or U.S. university program in Business or Engineering. Required documentation: recent unofficial transcript and, if not yet enrolled, an acceptance letter.
3. Be one of the following: Canadian citizen, Canadian permanent resident, U.S. citizen, U.S. Green Card holder, or holder of a valid study permit/student visa for Canada or the U.S. Required documentation: a clear copy of the applicable ID or permit.

- Corporate Law & Compliance
- Fintech & Financial Technology
ESSAY REQUIREMENTS
- Submit one essay (max. 750 words) specific to the stream you are applying for.
- Evaluation criteria: organization, clarity, originality, relevance to INKAS’s industry, and vision for the future.
Essay prompts:
- Engineering & Technology applicants: How can emerging technologies (for example AI, cybersecurity, materials science, or robotics) improve security, efficiency, and innovation within the armored vehicle or defense sector? Cite concrete applications and real-world examples.
- Business, Finance & Law applicants: In the changing global environment, how can strategic leadership, ethical decision-making, and innovation foster sustainable growth and build trust in the armored vehicle and security industries?
