Del-One Scholarship

Attention Delaware high school seniors:
If you need help covering college expenses, Del-One Federal Credit Union offers a scholarship opportunity each year. Two recipients will each receive $2,500.00 to assist with tuition costs. This program reflects our commitment to “people helping people” by supporting students who show academic achievement, involvement in their communities, participation with their credit union, and demonstrated financial need.
Who may apply
- Must be a Delaware high school senior and either a Del-One member, the son or daughter of a Del-One member, or the grandchild of a Del-One member. (Please note: Del-One employees, volunteers and their immediate family members are not eligible.)
- Must plan to begin an accredited college or university program no later than the fall of the current year.
- Must be a student in good standing.
- Must show evidence of community involvement.
- Must submit either a written essay (one to two pages maximum) or a video answering the prompt below.

Deadline
All applications must be postmarked by March 15 to be considered for the current year.
Important award details
- Scholarship checks will be mailed directly to the recipient’s college or university. The institution’s Financial Aid Office will determine disbursement and the funds are to be applied toward tuition only. Awards will not be paid directly to students.
- If a recipient does not enroll in the fall semester at the college or university listed on the application, the scholarship will be forfeited and returned to the Del-One Scholarship Program.
- Del-One Federal Credit Union reserves the right to modify or end this scholarship program at any time.
