Introduction / Purpose
The Connex Foundation Scholarship exists to support people pursuing careers in skilled trades or multi-site facility management. Its aim is to encourage and financially assist students who plan to build careers in these areas, while helping attract individuals from high school, college, career transitions, adult re-entry programs, and veterans into the multi-site facilities sector.

2026 Scholarship Awards
For 2026, the Connex Foundation will offer scholarships of up to $5,000 each to individuals training for careers in skilled trades (for example: electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, carpentry), construction, and/or facility management. Awards will be made to qualified candidates in both Canada and the United States.

Key deadline
All application materials must be submitted by 11:59 PM CT on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a United States or Canadian citizen, or a permanent legal resident of the U.S. or Canada.
- Be at least a graduating high school senior or hold an equivalent credential (such as a GED).
- Intend to enroll as a full-time student.
- Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent on Canadian grading scales).
- Demonstrate a record of participation in extracurricular activities, community service, and/or work experience.

Application Rules and Conditions (you must agree to these)
1. You must personally complete your application. Parents, guardians, counselors, teachers, or others may help by providing information and reviewing content, but the application must be submitted by the applicant. Applications discovered to have been completed by someone other than the applicant will be disqualified.
2. To the best of your knowledge, you must not be a spouse, child, step-child, grandchild, or step-grandchild of anyone currently employed by the Connex Foundation, serving on the Connex Foundation Scholars Committee, or serving on the Connex Foundation Board of Directors.
3. Information in your application will be reviewed by staff and volunteer evaluators. Contact details are removed for reviewers, but other identifying information, including your name, may be visible. Reviewers are required to keep applicant materials confidential and to discuss applicants only with committee members as part of the evaluation process.
4. All statements and documentation you submit (including transcripts and other materials) should be accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Knowingly withholding or misrepresenting information may lead to disqualification or revocation of any award.
5. Applications and all supporting documents must be received by the deadline: 11:59 PM CT, Sunday, February 15, 2026.
6. Decisions are made on a rolling basis; applicants should expect to be informed of the outcome by approximately May 15, 2026.
7. Scholarship payments are sent directly to the financial aid or bursar’s office of the institution where the recipient is enrolled. Funds will be credited to the student account and applied toward tuition, room and board, books, fees, and other qualifying educational expenses, as described in the award notification.
8. The Connex Foundation reserves the right to modify or cancel scholarship awards in response to specific circumstances.
9. The Foundation will communicate primarily via email. If your email address changes, you must notify foundation@connexfm.com. Monitor your inbox and your spam/junk/quarantine folders for messages from foundation@connexfm.com and crichmond@connexfm.com.
