Introduction The Michigan Retailers Foundation provides scholarships to students connected with Michigan’s retail sector — whether you are an employee of a member company or a dependent of someone who is, the Foundation supports your educational advancement. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the Foundation will award fifteen scholarships of $3,500 each. Eligibility Applicants must meet the following criteria: - Be an employee of an MRA member business working a minimum of 15 hours per week and employed for at least six months. - OR be the spouse, child, or legally dependent of an eligible employee. - Be a high school senior or a current college student. - Plan to attend or be enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or trade school. - Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. Selection & Awards - Fifteen scholarships of $3,500 each will be granted for the 2026 awards, totaling $52,500. - Since 1999, the Michigan Retailers Foundation has awarded $793,750 in scholarships to 652 students.
