New York Major Environmental Career Scholarship Application

The New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) will award more than $50,000 in scholarships in 2026.

Environmental Career Scholarship — $12,000 (total)
- This scholarship is disbursed over four academic years as follows:
- Year 1: $1,000
- Year 2: $2,500
- Year 3: $3,500
- Year 4: $5,000
Eligibility requirements
- Must be a high school senior who meets NYWEA’s qualifying criteria
- Must be a resident of New York State
- Must be enrolled full time in a B.S. or B.E. degree program with an environmental focus
