American Ground Water Trust College Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by American Ground Water Trust
Introduction
The American Ground Water Trust (AGWT) awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college or university and pursue careers connected to groundwater and water resources (examples include hydrogeology, water treatment, engineering, water law, and related fields).
New Scholarship (beginning 2025)
Starting in 2025, AGWT will add an additional $2,500 scholarship. This new award is made possible by the Trust’s program supporters and event attendees — specifically through the Trust’s ability to retain funds from credit card processing fees paid by those supporters — allowing continued investment in groundwater education.
General Application Note
All applicants will automatically be considered for every AGWT scholarship for which they qualify; however, an individual student may receive only one award.
